Im Vera Susan Miller, artist and doll lover. I adored dolls as a young girl and have always painted and drawn very realistic portraits, landscapes, florals etc.. It was only natural that I become a doll maker. I have on these pages the dolls I have hand made either from clay or cloth or a combination. Some of these are for sale, some are just part of my gallery.
At this time I prefer smaller dolls. That has been the case my entire life. As a girl I played with the smaller dolls. My Barbie was the MOTHER of 10-12 smaller dolls including Betsy Mccall! :)
I learn something new with every doll. I enjoy and love making every doll.
I have been asked several times if I can do a "portrait doll". I can try. All I can really guarantee is the hair and eyes will be the right color. I will post all the portrait dolls I have done to date.
